Long 131 words
RAD Tactics is a squad tactics game for Windows, played in real time and paused at will: the clock runs, the player stops it to give orders, and it resumes. It is set after a collapse, with the dead on one side and factions with their own plans on the other. It is built in Unity by Dead Media, an independent studio.
The studio is open about where the game comes from. X-COM, Commandos, Jagged Alliance 2 and Fallout Tactics all came out of the run of years when a handful of studios worked out how to put a small squad under one player's command and make every order cost something.
The game is in development. No release date and no price have been announced, and there are no screenshots or trailer yet.
